Raised in Santa Barbara, California, Sarah spent her childhood traipsing around tide pools, dissecting cadavers in her father's lab and writing fractured fairytales. Sarah’s passion for screenwriting began in high school when she wrote a historical television program for the Boys and Girls Club that earned her a one-year mentorship with former WGA president, David Rintels. Sarah graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in History, and a minor in English Literature where she learned to write very long essays in a very short amount of time. Her first “real job” was working in Employee Communications (read: HR) for The Walt Disney Company. After a few years, Sarah left the glamorous world of crafting corporate messages to write television. Since then, Sarah has written for Robert Rodriguez’s FROM DUSK TILL DAWN: THE SERIES, Freeform's SIREN and JUST BEYOND for Disney+.
